I just obtained DVD's with the full episode of the Danny Kaye show featuring the Big 3 and the full episode of Hootenanny from Southern Methodist University with the Journeymen!

The Danny Kaye show has the Big 3 performing Rider, and it's a great performance! About to sit down and watch the Hootenanny episode now.

That's so cool! Did you know that the Journeymen performed on The Danny Kaye show as well? They also did a spot for Exilon Tile.

They only did Rider, no additional songs and no interviews or anything like that.

No problem John. The Journeymen sing the opening, "Hootenanny Saturday Night" along with another group, the Wanderers Three. By themselves they sing "Stackolee", "Cryderville Jail" and "Someone To Talk My Troubles To". The finale, "Kumbaya", has all the guests singing together, and the Scott, John and Dick take one of the verses in harmony.

"Cryderville Jail" is really cool, nice lead by Scott and harmony on the choruses.

As far as I know, the Exilon tile bit was a coomercial from the Danny Kaye show and is only available on the first Jorneymen cd put out by Collector's Choice Music. I don't know if any video of that show exsists.
