I saw WP perform at Market Days last night. They were really good and the audience loved them. Their set included two Mamas and Papas songs : Dedicated to the One I Love (was hoping that Owen would come out for her wonderful contributiom) and California Dreamin'. It was a thrill for me, at 58, that this mostly thirty something audience knew the words and sang along. At one point, Chynna held the mic out and we sang it without accompianment. After the song, Chynna said "That was for you dad." They also did two ABBA songs quite well : Dancing Queen and Does Your Mother Know. Alas, no Beach Boys song in the set. Several of their well known songs. The show ended with Hold On and the crowd had been waiting for that one and they went wild. What a good performance! Their parents would have been proud.
