A baby girl born destined for a purpose
A gift the world came to know
This lass with class
With intellegence and wit
Certainly defied the odds
And became a hit
Her charm and charisma
Her private time aside
Once you get wind of her enthusiasm
You are in for a quite a ride
Her presence amongst many
The friends she made along the way
Here we are 69 yrs after
And she is as revelant today
Thankyou Cass for your gift of being
Of when you were here and even now
To still be revered and honoured
To me- WOW
Your memory is still thriving
And it always will
You'll remain having lifelong fans
From young to over the hill
Today is your song
Sing it loud and sweet
For your music is the harmony
To which we jump up and be on our feet
May you enjoy your day
Shine your special star
Cast your essence to all who hears you
From near and far
