Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

I was in Cleveland, OH last week to teach a seminar for work and was able to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum and was very pleased to see some Cass Elliot items on display. They have one of her dresses on display in an area dedicated to Los Angeles music and they had several items (another dress and some sheet music) in the special "Women Who Rock" exhibit. I was nearly moved to tears seeing these items as I have been a fan since I first saw Cass in a special called "When the Music's Over" when I was ten years old. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to visit the museum and see items that belonged to someone whose music has influenced me so much over the years!

Welcome to the board. It's great that you got to see that. I saw a gilmpse of the exhibit on tv when it first opened. It looked wonderful. Thanks for posting.

Hi there, and I'll say Ditto as Nicole did in Welcome to the board . Also , I'm glad that you had the chance to see the exhibit and see some Cass stuff, as it would really give you the feel/sense for what she was about, etc. I hope you get to go there again sometime .
