My goodness time flies....38 yrs today since Cass left this world..... Gone but NEVER forgotten !!!!!

So, in her honour today....

" A GAL WITH CLASS "

Some time ago
In Baltimore Land
A woman born with a talent at hand
Growing up indeed
Destined to be famous was her creed
She acted and worked here and there
And then she got her break
Met up with two gentlemen
And the Folk route is what they would take
After awhile she needed a change
Fate came a callin , strange ?!
A Canucker named Denny caught her eye
And when they begun singing as the Mugwumps
The harmonies began to fly
Mamas and Papas then came along
She was at that time where she should belong
Time went on and some stuff went wrong
Her own is where she longed to be
So she was gone and carried on
Solo and in flight
At long last what she truly wanted
Came to light
Sadly on July 29th 1974
She was silent , not to be heard no more
But her legacy and her music indeed lives on
Embracing the lifelong and new folks and going strong
We remember this unique and iconic lass
She had a name , which was Cass
The Gal With Class...
