One of a few in a generation
Destined to standout, of adoration and admiration
Gifted and intelligent
Quick with wit
Spirited and soulful
Not shy to tell you off when needed
Followed by advice when heeded
Words with " F" and " S "
Were you aware her Mom's name was Bess
Did things as she saw fit
Lovely voice , in song
Captivated by her presence
Something was special of her essence
Had her moments of sunshine and rain
Of laughter, loneliness and pain
Her greatest joy was her daughter Owen
Whenever in her arms her motherhood was glowin and showin
Funky, hip
Charming and kinda a bit old fashioned
If only Baltimore had a known or imagined
Never missed a beat
Sassy, classy feet
Today we comemmorate
Demonstrate our love and her memory
We worship how she was clever
Happy Birthday today
