Varese Vintage Records announces the release of
John Phillips: Andy Warhol Presents “Man On The Moon”

Available on July 21, 2009


Never-before-released music written and performed by John Phillips from his long-lost musical Man On The Moon (a/k/a Space).

The release is an enhanced CD containing 34 previously unreleased original John Phillips songs performed by John and his Celestial Choir, featuring Genevieve Waite, Monique Van Vooren, and Denny Doherty.

Includes live recordings of the show made by Andy Warhol from the audience at the Little Theatre in 1975, and studio tracks from the 1974 Phillips-produced rare cult classic Genevieve Waite album, “Romance Is On The Rise.”
