Fantastic Four - new M&P's song?

Hello all. Was cruising the Collector's Choice site yesterday and came across this. It was listed under John Phillips - "Jack of Diamonds". Looks like Fantastic Four was going to be part of the People Like Us album but was cut.

Hi tuminello,
I think the fantastic four song was something recorded around the time of People Like Us, but I'm not sure that it was part of that album, like the No Dough outake.

I IMMEDIATELY ordered the CD when I saw this today just for that song (I already have the alternate take to "No Dough").
I don't understand....John Phillips himself said (in an interview) that there was little to no unreleased M&P material out there.

OK, I have been listening to the "Fantastic Four". Yes, it is about the Beatles, and it does sound like it was recorded during the "People Like Us" sessions.
It is a great rarity....but I can see why it didn't make the actual album cut.

Is it just me, or does the ending of "FF" sound identical to the ending of the Beatles' "Strawberry Fields Forever"?

Hi...this is new to me..is there an audio clip one can listen to of this song ? From the comments made, it sounds like it is another gem.... I like it when unexpected pleasant surprises pop up, hoping more will come along....Keep thinking positively !
