If members would like to list their ten favourite M&P tracks IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE I will work out the forum's favourite tracks in order. Sorry, no lists of random order! The order is important, as I will award 10 points to your favourite, down to 1 point for your 10th favourite. To kick things off here's mine;

2nd Monday Monday
3rd Go where you wanna go
4. Dedicated to the one I love
5. Creeque Alley
6. I saw her again last night.
7. Twelve thirty.
8. Look through my window
9. Dancing Bear.
10.Safe in my garden.

Okay, this is hard but for now, I'll stck with what I consider my top 10 for the time being, it will probably change now and then but here goes my 2 cents worth :

3- Creeque Alley

5- I Need Somebody Groovy
6- In Crowd
7- For the Love of Ivy
8- Dancing In the Street
9- I Call Your Name

I would fare better with doing a Top 20 of their songs ..lol ?!

Great choice of #1 Nicole! That's 3 out of 4 so far that have placed California Dreamin in the top position! I'm sure it must be the best song to have ever been recorded by anyone. It still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end after all these years of hearing it!
When a few more lists have been submitted I'll start posting results. It'll be ongoing so new members can take part, and I'll do updates every so often. Rich.

When California Dreamin' was first released, everyone in my age group at that time sang along with it every time. the rock and roll stations played it every day for like two years. It was a song that you never got tired of. Come to think of it, I'm not tired of it even now! I often wonder how many copies of this have been sold ( singles/ albums) since day one. More than just a few.
