Postby Alby » Wed Sep 24, 2008 11:17 am

Hi,
I was just curious about what studio was each of the 5 albums recorded in, I only know the second LP was recorded in the famous Western Recorders were "Pet sounds" by The Beach Boys was recorded too.

Thanks in advance,

Albert.

Hi Albert,
I think the first three albums was recorded at Western Studios in Studio 3B. The Papas and The Mamas was recorded in John and Michelle's studio in their Bel Air Mansion. People Like Us was recorded with everyone giving separate contributions at the Record Plant studio, I think. I also think that studio was in Los Angeles but I'm not sure.
Take care,

Maybe Richard knows about it? It's strange that the original vinyl covers of the first four albums don't tell about it though I don't own "People like us" on vinyl to check it.
