I just got the "Monte Walsh" CD today and am reeling at how much better the versions of "The Good Times Are Coming" are than the established single version. Although her vocals are achingly gorgeous on the single, I never really liked the carnivalesque/pseudo-country mix. The versions on the soundtrack are far superior.

This discovery leaves me hungry for more! Whoever owns the rights to her material: PLEASE, PLEASE give us more. There's no such thing as too much Cass Elliot!
