From an early age when as a boy not quite a man
He had made up his mind of his lifelong plan
Music was encased in his heart and being
Money and creativity was what he was seeing

After some formations
And demise of some
I don't think he fully anticipated of what was to come
Michelle appeared and he was lost
In love and in a world where he stuff had a cost

Then so it came as legendary to be
With the chance luck of finding Denny
Cass along with her vocal weapon oh yes
A sound was to be born
Iconic and revered
Forever captured more or less

And through turbulence and sometimes the sun did shine
He wrote and sang on his own
Sometimes collaberating on things
To which the context was not really clearly known
Never was he to be wimpy and whine

Sadly his life came to a close
What he would of done later in life
Who knows

He left a gift of music
In words and song
His voice forever lives
Discovered constantly with new generations
Going strong
John-- A Complex Man...
