Came into the world sometime ago
This is where he did belong

And harmonies and melodies just right
It really came together one particular night
He played with others in his past
But when this new found formed
He knew the magic was at last cast
The ride began and went on
Through the good and bad
Lows and highs
Short and long
Perserverence and a tad bit quirky
His legacy of songs left behind
Demonstrated the genius and sometimes merky
In moments yes, his reality did slip
Somehow he managed to get a grip
His creativity lives on
Whether it was on it's own
Or helped with a bong
Forever you'll associate
