Progress Report on John Phillips biography?

Postby Nicole » Wed Jan 02, 2013 8:12 am

Hi everyone,
Happy New Year! Perhaps Richard Campbell can answer my query as to the progress of the John Phillips biography by Chris Campion and Jeffrey Greenburg. Any word that it will come out this year? Thank you in advance for any information.
Take care,
Nicole

I'd like to know this as well. And of course what the next Papa John Phillips Presents is...

Unfortunately, I would not at all be surprised to find out if the remainder of the series had been discontinued on the heels of the incest allegations. As far as bad press goes, that is pretty much about as bad as it gets...

On the off chance that I am wrong, my guess is that the company is probably waiting a little while longer before putting out the next title in the hopes that the story will have faded from public memory by then.

I feel like such a cynic for even going there but I do struggle to come up with any other reason why the huge time lapse since the last release...

Cheers and Happy New Year my old and new board friends,

Eran :)

Well we did get the expanded People Like Us last year, that had the Papa John Presents logo and all.

Regardless of the 'Papa John Logo' 'People Like Us' is a Mamas and Papas project, not a JP project. I see the wisdom of Eran's comment, as sad as it is.

Hi John,
Yes, I agree with you, as sad as it is. However, keeping my fingers crossed for the biography.
Take care,
