Your Favorite Michelle movie

Postby Nicole » Fri Sep 18, 2009 7:04 am

Hi,
I've been thinking about this for awhile. Here are my favorite movies/tv appearences that Michelle Phillips appeared/starred in, in no particular order:

The California Kid
Dillinger
Secrets of a Married Man
The Man With Bogart's Face
No One Would Tell
Let It Ride
Valentino
Rubdown

Feel free to add your favorites.
Take care,
Nicole

My favorite comedy is 'Bogart' and my favorite drama is 'Secrets of a Married Man', for which I think that Michelle should have been nominated for an Emmy.

I'd say the same movies you mentioned Nicole, and I could add Savage Harvest..., she's particularly great in Dillinger and Valentino in my opinion.
Does she have a long appearance in Let it ride and Rubdown?

Though both "Let It Ride' and "Rubdown' were substantial roles, the role in 'Rubdown' was bigger. It was one of the tv movies that Michelle did after Knots and featured William Devane.

'Savage Harvest' is a cult classic in the horror genre. I sent in a small review of this film to 'Shock Cinema' and the publisher said that he would eventually use it but 2 years went by and he scrapped, or canned, my review and wrote his own, which was fine with me because I got more out of reading his review then I would have from reading mine.

Hi John and Alby,
Wow, thanks for the replies. John, Great info on that interview for Savage Harvest. Was the interview positive? I agree with you Michelle should have won an Emmy for Secrets of A Married Man. I also want to add to my list Michelle's guest shots as Maude in the short-lived tv series The Macnificent Seven. She was great in that.
Take care,

Oh, yes, the review was positive Nicole and u r right, that Maude was a real doozy of a part for Michelle. How about when she did the Pauly Shore show? That was fun. And 'Herman's Head'?
