Kookaburra Cass

Hey Guys,

I saw this in this mornings Sydney paper and thought I'd share, an injured overweight Kookaburra has been nursed back to health by Taronga Zoo, they named it MAMA CASS and today she took flight!

Hi Nicole,

It was interesting, although I have conflicting emotions about it, hate that they named an animal MAMA CASS just because it was fat BUT love the fact that 36 years after she died people still remember her and feel enough to name an animal after her. Go figure.

Anything I come across in the press about cass I'll always post, wether we like it or not, at least it may create discussion.
