Legends of the Canyon: Classic artists

Postby ignasi » Sun Aug 01, 2010 5:03 am

A new dvd will come on August 31!!!
It would be interesting!
The story of the Canyon groups told by photoprapher Henry Diltz! I wish there'll be some rare pictures of the group, who knows!
You can pre-order it on Amazon!

I think this is simply a revamp of Henry's UNDER THE COVERS. Surely it's worth getting but I would imagine the image will be the same....

Hi John and Alby,
Thanks for the youtube link and letting us know about the dvd. To this day Laurel Canyon is a creative place for artists.
Take care,

such vintage footage of Cass and Owen in the pool and happy as clams. Wish we had more of that.

Also, great interviews with Mama Michelle and some footage of Cass outside at a photo shoot and looking dazzling.

Don't blink and miss the very rare photo of the group on the set of 'Where the Action Is' which is in color!!! All the other photos that I've seen, along with the show itself, were in b/w.

A bit 'Crosby, Stills and Nash' heavy but still a great product.

Hi John,
I agree with you. Some great stuff there. I also like the photos in the eight page booklet, especially the one from the People Like Us sessions, with Denny in sunglasses. Awesome.
Take care,
Nicole
