Hi Minight Voyager,
Great list. I like Aloha Louie as well. I particularly like the line it goes something like we'll cross the dateline and have somwhite wine."
Take care,

In Aloha Louie, I love the line: "It's not corruption to have an eruption in Hawai...volcanos do!!" GREAT!

Hi Everyone

My top 5 are:
1. "Dedicated To the One I Love"
2. "The Aching Kind"
3. "No Love Today"
4. "Aloha Louie"
5. Anything from People Like Us (I know this is cheating a bit, but I think that Michelle is the star of this
this often-maligned album; she dominates the female-half of the mix and comes through very nicely).

Hi jcg,
I couldn't agree with you more about People Like Us and Michelle's contributions. I probably said this on the forum somewhere, so please excuse me for repeating myself when I say that in addition to her vocal dominance for the first time in the Mamas and Papas Michelle contributes her own song "I Wanna Be A Star", which in my humble opinion is the begining of her later song writng on Victim of Romance. By the way, I love that song.
Take care,

Hi Nicole,

Touche! I love the PLU album. It is the first time Michie is so prevalent in the mix and it's too bad the material wasn't stronger. As for "I Wanna Be A Star," it is a guilty pleasure for me!

take care of yourself,

and PLU shows how Michelle's voice is important in the overall sound on all the other albums too.
