Midnight Voyage without chatter?

Postby blinker12 » Fri Oct 01, 2010 9:11 am

Hello everyone,
Does there exist a version of "Midnight Voyage" without the studio chatter toward the end of the song? ("You were late coming in." "I was right on time," etc.)
It was interesting hearing it a few times, but now I just feel it breaks the continuity of the song which is one of my favorites of theirs!
Thanks...

that's an interesting viewpoint. I always thought that that little interlude was an integral part of the track but your opinion makes me think about it. Thanks for sharing.

Actually, you can make your own version without the chatter with simple editing software.

Hi everyone,
I always liked that part of the song because it gave the listener a glimpse of what recording in John and Michelle's home studio in Bel Air was like, However, I can see the point of it ruinig the coninuity of the song. I'm re-thinking this as well.
Take care,
