Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums of All Time

Just wanted to pass along the info that If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears is number 112 in the Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums of all time. :D

Hi Nicole, thankyou for sharing this info. It is great to know that after all this time, that The Mamas And Papas first album that started it all, is ranked up there in amognst all the others...and it goes to prove once more, how their music is embraced still by many and how it still serves as a place in musical history and as I like to quote part of Cass when she said : " It's almost like we're a fixture..." ( I may have screwed up the quote , forgiv e me but you know what quote I mean by ) :D

If you ask me I think their 4th album should've been no.1 on the Rolling stones list but that's just me.

It's terrific that The Mamas and Papas have made such a high profile list! Number 112 is of course more than a hundred places too low for such an iconic album! I'd put it 3rd, behind Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, and Arrival by ABBA. :) Rich.
