I always thought if Cass was still around she'd be an Obama-supporter? What do you all think? I just know theres a lot of people watching from australia and I think we all were hoping for this victory.

If only we could have a leader with some integrity who stands by what they say, sadly our Julia Gillard's word is not worth a pinch of ....

Hi Nicole,

Yes Julia Gillard is our first female prime minister, which is great, but, sadly shes flipped on just about every 'promise' she made before and during her term. Worse still is the opposition is run by a guy named Tony Abbott who nobody has any faith in.

I remember when Oprah came to Australia to do her run of shows we had a female Governer General (Quinton Bryce), a female prime minister (Julia Gillard) and two female state premiers., Oprah was impressed.

Thank goodness ! No matter how terrible it is in other parts of the world I have a sense of optimism & hope that's good to go for another 4 years as long as Obama is here to make a difference.
