Call Me Cass

Postby Brownjb81 » Tue Jul 08, 2014 6:58 pm

A couple of weekends back in my hometown of Detroit, the local YMCA here in town did a fundraising event showcasing the vast talent of their staff. They presented staged readings of "Call Me Cass". The musical was about the life of Cass Elliot. It's a musical written by Margaret Edwartowksi, who is the Director of Arts at the YMCA in Detroit. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the play since I already had other plans that weekend and couldn't get out of it. Hopefully, I'll catch it next time.

Hi RichieRich...
Thankyou for the link, interesting it was indeed. If I lived in the area where this production is taking place, I'd be going to see it :) ....I hope it does well, and yes, the actress does resemble Cass somewhat :)
